Automatic Writing Changed My Life!
Have you ever tried automatic writing? A long time ago, I was having a hard time connecting with Spirit. I really needed to specifically connect with ArchAngel Michael. I was very intimidated by this but I felt only he could give me the answer I needed.
I sat down, with no distractions, and began typing. I poured my heart out to him. I told him why I specifically needed him. I then stopped and I prayed and I prayed. I asked ArchAngel Michael to please come to me through my hands and to respond directly to me through the keyboard. After I prayed, I lay my hands down on the computer.
When nothing happened at first, I started feeling really silly and typed something like, "Silly girl, what were you thinking that an ArchAngel would come to you like this?" Well, he did! All of a sudden, I started typing the most compassionate message. ArchAngel Michael filled up an entire page with his answer to my problem and so much was resolved and clarified!
Since then, when I feel blocked at all, whether it's with connecting with my own Spiritual Support Team, with an ArchAngel, or even with someone who's passed, I'll sit down and start writing. It is amazing the messages that will get through when I give up and just lay my fingers on that keyboard.
The main thing is to trust. Trust yourself and whoever you are trying to communicate with. It's the same as connecting with Spirit in your mind or in person. It's just a different form of communication. I love it because I can go back to it over and over again. It gives me a great deal of reassurance to be able to see these responses in print.
I cannot urge you to try this technique enough. Let's go over it one more time.
Be sure you have grounded and protected first.
Get rid of your distractions first. Turn off all media. Clear your mind.
Sit somewhere that you won't be interrupted.
Decide if you want to write this out or use the keyboard. I like the keyboard because I can type so much faster than I can write but that's just my personal preference. I've done it both ways and it works...every time.
Write out your dilemma, your question, your thoughts. Hold nothing back. Be specific about what you need to hear.
Stop. Wait. Your answer will come. This is a great time to pray about it.
Pick your pen back up or lay your hands on your keyboard.
When it starts, stay with it as long as you are getting answers. This could be less than five minutes or it could be longer than an hour. Stay with it.
Do not evaluate what your are writing/typing. Do not spell-check yourself. Just get it on paper. You'll have time later to do all of that.
Once you are finished, be sure to thank and honor the presence of whoever came forward to help you.
There have been times, after I received my answer, that I've felt it was appropriate to give thanks then burn the paper, giving the energy back to the Universe. There have been other times that I felt it appropriate to keep it. Do what feels right for you.
