Dog: We Choose You

I do a great deal of pet readings for clients. I also do a series of wild animal readings for my readers here. I am currently working on a book that will contain all my wild animal readings and it occured to me that I should do a general reading of a dog and a cat while I am at it! I think you will greatly enjoy this reading with Dog!

When speaking with another species, I always ask to speak with a representative from the collective (who is living in heaven) as well as a living individual. I do this because, many times, they each have very different messages.

Our collective representative is a beautiful Husky with striking blue eyes.

Collective Representative:

Hello all. We are so happy to have been called here to join other animals as they bid you welcome to their world. Dog is a big part of man's world and we love it! We have been very grateful for our part in your development as well. You see, we believe we teach you compassion and unconditional love.

You domesticated us thousands of years ago and we literally adapted beautifully to the domestication. We trust you now to care for us. We trust you to make a place for us.

Many of us live in your homes. We are beloved members of your family and we appreciate that because we truly love you as our family too. We choose you. Yes, we also have a hand in our own pre-birth planning. We know the lessons we need to learn and even the lessons we need to teach. We choose our families. Very little pet choice is random.

We may save your life as we come to give you much needed companionship. We may help the quality of your life as we become your service dog. We help first responders in their work every single day. We love being helpers and teachers! God created us for just this task.

Thank you for caring for us as a species. Thank you for researching ways to provide and care for us. Thank you for responsibly raising us and helping us when we cannot help ourselves. We love mankind and are proud to share this journey with you.

Individual:

A little miniature dachshund has run up to me now! I have a real affection for this breed as we raised and rescued three of them in years past.

Hello, Lacey! I am so happy to be here. I am a little lap dog from Missouri. I live with a sweet family with three kids. I call them my babies! I am helping to raise them along with their parents. Yes, they are my babies too. I teach them all kinds of things. I teach them patience. I teach them gentleness (toddlers need a lot of help with this skill). I teach them how to care for another living being. I teach them love, great love.

I was my Mom's dog before she got married and now I am a family dog. It took me a while to warm up to my Dad because he took a lot of my Mom's time away from me. Even so, I have learned to love him. Then came the kids! What a change that brought to our home! So much joy but also a great deal of noise!

I'm not a puppy anymore but my family loves playing with me. I think I'm a better parent to our kids because of my age. I am far more patient with them and I teach them that patience as they have had to learn how to get along with me too. I have a wonderful life, as you can see.

I would like to remind all your readers that dogs need you as much as you need them. I wouldn't be half the dog I am without my people. Your unending love and joy in us is greatly reciprocated! As we become your family, so too are you ours. Thank you for loving us in this way.

I speak with domesticated animals on a very regular basis. You can have your pet read anytime. I also enjoy communicating with wild animals. Each time I speak with a wild animal, I am humbled, truly humbled, by their dignity and grace. We are so blessed to share this planet with them. Please help me to help them to spread their messages.

Should you be interested, I have spoken with many wild animals and insects. A comprehensive index with links to individual blog posts is here.
