Squirrel: We Love Interacting with Mankind

Squirrels are such fun to me! I love their joy for life! These are intelligent, resourceful little creatures. Did you know that squirrels run in zigzag patterns to escape predators? That's a pretty successful survival strategy but that's not all they do that's smart. They sometimes pretend to bury their treasures to throw off other competitors. We are fortunate that they don't remember where all their nuts are stored for they have helped many a tree get their start.

I really enjoyed speaking with Squirrel! When I speak with a wild animal, I always begin with their species representative of their Collective that resides in heaven then I end with a living Individual.

Collective Representative:

Hello, readers! We are greatly excited to be included in Lacey's wild animal readings! We are so happy here on our earth, with you! We love each and every habitat that we live in. We have been greatly blessed because we have been able to adapt to so many habitats. You will notice that we have many species, indigenous to each area where we live. We have adapted as mankind has adapted.

Many see us as tree rats. We take that as a high compliment for we believe Rat to be an incredibly smart species! We enjoy being resourceful. We do our best to prepare for those days when we will need more than we can find; hence, we bury so much of our food! We truly do plan for hard days. The good news is that we normally don't feel that we have very many.

We love interacting with mankind. We are, by nature, curious. We enjoy your species as much as you enjoy ours. We truly love life and hope that you enjoy yours even more while in relationship with us!

I honored Squirrel for having come today. He bounded off my shoulder and out of my office!

Individual:

Our living squirrel is from the great forests in Oregon.

Hello! Thank you for calling me. I live in the Pacific Northwest. We get a lot of rain here so our forests are lush and green. I love it! I have so many friends in this forest. I play a great deal of the time and, other than that, I am constantly looking for food and eating as I do it!

I would ask your readers to look at us as your example of working hard and playing hard. We understand we have to work. We work for every morsel we receive. Yes, whether it is raiding your bird feeders or foraging, we do work for all we have. Even so, we stop to play! This is so important and it keeps us balanced! Remember to play, humans. It is in playing that you find your heart. It is in playing that you find relationship and joy. Don't forget this important step.

I thanked Squirrel for his message and for coming today. He had been standing on my laptop most of this reading. He happily scampered out of my office.

This is an ongoing series on my blog. I speak with domesticated animals on a very regular basis. Each time I speak with a wild animal, I am humbled, truly humbled, by their dignity and grace. We are so blessed to share this planet with them. Please help me to help them to spread their messages. Please share this post!

Should you be interested, I have spoken with many wild animals and insects. A comprehensive index with links to individual blog posts is here.

Until next time.....
