Giraffe: Honor All Life On This Planet

Giraffes are actually one of our greatest pollinators! As they eat, they are able to transfer pollen from tree flower to tree flower. Although they are plant eaters, they also eat skeletons of dead animals to restore their calcium and phosphorus levels. Did you know a herd or group of giraffe are called a tower? While giraffes are considered endangered, two of their subspecies are critically endangered. We have lost 40% of our giraffe in the last 30 years. Fewer than 100,000 live in the wild.

What a privilege to speak with Giraffe! When I speak with a wild animal, I always begin with their species representative of their Collective that resides in heaven then I end with a living Individual.

Collective:

Hello to all. I am happy for this opportunity to speak with you today, here in this forum. Giraffe has been on earth for many eons. We are happy to be here and happy where we live. We have never existed anywhere but the African continent and we have been quite successful there until recent years. We need your help. We are being hunted and slaughtered and we need for you to pay attention to our losses. For some reason, we have slipped through the cracks as other, fierce animals, are being hunted as well. Please pay attention to what is happening in our beloved Africa! It is the only place for large animals like us. We have been with Mother Earth as long as you have. We deserve to be here with you. It is time that we finally ask for help for this problem has gone beyond what we can do for ourselves. Teach your children who we are. Teach them to honor all life on this planet. It is only with education that our plight will finally be resolved.

I honored Giraffe for coming today. Giraffe honored me by touching his mouth to the top of my head. I caressed them along their jaw as they pulled away and walked silently out of my office.

Individual:

The individual giraffe came running up to me and only braked as they were getting close! This was a much younger giraffe, full of energy!

Hello, Lacey! I am so excited to be here! I live at the San Diego Zoo. I am happy. They take great care of me and I have a family here as well. I want for nothing and my healthcare is wondrous! Do not be sad for me here in the zoo. I was aware, before coming into this life, that I could choose captivity or the wild. I chose captivity so that I could teach others about our species. This is a worthy sacrifice for my species and I am happy to give it. I know that my Elder has already spoken with you about our plight so I would like to concentrate on what your readers could learn from us. We have many noble qualities! I would urge your readers, when they are of low energy, to pretend they are like us. I would urge them to rise above their circumstances and look at their problem from a new angle, from above!

I believe it would change their whole attitude. Many times, problems are not insurmountable when seen from above! I would also urge your readers to truly care about their young ones. Giraffe are good family. We don't leave each other behind. We are curious about each new day and the wonders it brings. It is in our nature! We look at every bug as if it was the first time we had seen one. Humans would do well to live with more wonder. Last, I would ask your readers to think of our hearts. They are twice as large as yours. Yes, it is because we are so big but I want you to envision your heart now. Keep it open, allow it the freedom to pump without lower energy. See it physically swell within you. That's the best of who you are! The best humans have big beautiful hearts.

I got a beautiful wet kiss running all along the side of my head before Giraffe returned to their home!

This is an ongoing series on my blog. I speak with domesticated animals on a very regular basis. Each time I speak with a wild animal, I am humbled, truly humbled, by their dignity and grace. We are so blessed to share this planet with them. Please help me to help them to spread their messages. Please share this post!

Should you be interested, I have spoken with many wild animals and insects. A comprehensive index with links to individual blog posts is here.

Until next time.....
