Whale: Help Us to Survive With You

What a wondrous encounter to speak with Whale! Did you know that the Blue Whale is the largest known animal that has ever lived, 110' long and 150 tons? How amazing to learn that Gray Whales make one of the longest migrations on record as they travel up to 10,000 miles on a round trip! A really social animal, pods can contain up to four generations of family living together. Although the whaling industry has mostly ended, many subspecies remain endangered even today.

I spoke with both the representative of the species and a whale that is alive right now! I cannot explain to you the majesty of these animals. I felt them, right here in my office, as they swam up to me and hung in the water, exactly as they are pictured here!

Collective Representative:

Thank you for calling us today to speak with your readers. It is imperative that we be allowed to get our message out to those who care. We are in quite a plight now with all those who poach us illegally.

It is an honor to speak with those who actually see us and honor us as well. We know you are there and we know there are more of you that wish us well than those who do not care. Still, we need your help. We ask that you speak about us to those who can make a difference for us. We ask that you teach your children about us and how we love the earth as they will. We ask that you understand that our existence is now up to you as you grow and populate this earth. It will be up to you whether you will be stewards of all that you are given or whether you will continue to take and take until many species are lost. Please help us to survive here with you. It is our fondest wish to be a part of your world. We gladly share ours with you.

Individual:

Whale then sent me onward to a living blue whale with a baby, alive and well today. This was an amazing experience for me as she called to me as she was swimming up. It was beautifully surreal as I listened to her song. Her baby was gently gliding with her, almost on top of her. Such beauty and grace!

Lacey, how wonderful to be able to speak to other humans. We see that you are trying to help us by allowing us the ability to bring a message to all who read this blog. Thank you.

I am an old whale. I have birthed many calves. I am considered one of the very lucky because I have not been in any whaler's path. I swim in protected waters. Many people have seen me from whale boating tours but my favorites, if I can say, are the fishermen. They live in the seas. They understand that we are all a part of each other. They honor us and we honor them.

I have many times caught them watching me and even the most seasoned fisherman always gently calls when I have a baby with me. It seems all the world stops to appreciate our little ones!

Human beings have so much to offer. They have so many gifts. So, too, do the whales. Lacey, thank you for seeing this and describing our meeting. Thank you for helping us to become real to some people who read your blogs. It is only through being real that we will be saved.

What an honor for me to have spoken with this wondrous species today. Both of them were so wise. I felt as if I were speaking to ancient beings.

This is an ongoing series on my blog. I speak with domesticated animals on a very regular basis. Each time I speak with a wild animal, I am humbled, truly humbled, by their dignity and grace. We are so blessed to share this planet with them. Please help me to help them to spread their messages. Please share this post!

If you are interested in seeing more of my wild animal communications, please see my Wild Animal & Insect Reading Index.

Until next time.....
